Measurement.
The children have been measuring classroom objects using non-standard units. Today we used cubes!
We had to find different objects around the classroom that we could measure with cubes. We counted the number of cubes it took to measure the length of each object.




Here is what we found as a class.
Maths Activity:Lets go to the pet shop.
You have $100.00 to spend at the pet shop.
You have to buy at least three pets.
1) What animals can you buy?
2) How many different ways can you solve this?
Dog= $50.00
Bunny= $20.00
Frog= $10.00
Cat= $40.00
Hamster= $30.00

Here are the prices for the animals at Miss Wrights pet shop
dog: $550
Bunny $20.00
Frog: $20.00
Hamster: $50.00
Cat: $100.00
